Trump's Trumpery Trumps All

By making public his birth certificate in such submissive compliance with Donald Trump’s demand, President Obama has demeaned himself and his high Office. But worse yet, by not denouncing Trump’s bid to take over their party, or even acknowledging he’s doing it, Republicans politicos are giving the impression that they have been bought off by the celebrity billionaire buffoon. Come election time in 2012 they are bound to pay a heavy price for it. . . Or, maybe not. Maybe there are enough intellectually disadvantaged Republican-leaning voters out there who, as some polls suggest, regard Donald Trump as a latter-day Founding Father. If so, God help America!
